Privacy policy

This policy explains how the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) handles information collected through the SDG Monitoring Dashboard.

What we collect

For registered officers: name, official email address, mobile number, designation, the local government or department you represent, and the role requested.

Operational records: sign-in timestamps, failed sign-in counts for account-lockout protection, and an audit trail of every data entry, verification and approval you perform.

For public visitors: no account is required, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

Why we collect it

To authenticate officers, restrict data to the entity they are responsible for, and maintain an accountable record of who reported and approved each figure.

To protect accounts against automated password guessing.

To publish aggregate SDG performance. Published outputs contain institutional figures, not personal information.

How long we keep it

Account records are retained while the account is active and for the statutory record-retention period thereafter.

Audit trail entries and approved submissions are retained permanently as official records of government reporting.

Sharing

Personal data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Aggregate, approved and published data is released as open data. Evidence documents remain private to the approval chain.

Your rights

You may ask for correction of your profile details through your administrator.

Requests relating to personal data may be sent to the SDG cell at KILA using the contact details on the Contact page.

Cookies and local storage

The platform stores your language preference and, for signed-in officers, an authentication session in your browser. No analytics or advertising cookies are set.
